Together does what alone can’t. To highlight Facebook as the go-to platform for community, we created the first-ever Facebook Community Awards, honoring 21 Facebook Groups and their founders. To promote the event and encourage voting, we developed a massive integrated marketing experience that tells the stories of some amazing groups. Taking personal anecdotes from the admins, tons of lo-fi UGC and mixed media weirdness, we turned out an authentic, people-powered vibe that feels of-the-internet, and looks more like “content” than “ads”.
