To launch Reels Remix, a new feature to create Reels on Instagram, we partnered with Bailey Sok, Kyle Schaffer, Crissa Jackson, and Owen Thiele, creators with a large following on Instagram. Our strategy was to create an in-app ad that showcases the simplicity of using Remix, while also highlighting its strategic value. Bailey is an established choreographer and dancer, but the rest of the cast is best known for other skills, so we had them work together to demonstrate that Remix can be fun and a low-pressure way to create and share on Reels.
